Nevada prison officials are looking for an inmate who escaped from a facility in Northern Nevada. Officials say James Virgil McDowellwas reported missing late Tuesday from the Stewart Conservation Camp which is adjacent to the Northern Nevada Correctional Center.
Authorities say McDowell has been in prison since May 9th after being convicted of vehicle theft in Washoe County. He's described as 6 feet tall, weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
