Last week a Washington D.C. organization known as PEER -- Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility -- filed a lawsuit against the Bureau of Land Management. PEER is seeking documents and details on the on the BLM’s actions and decisions that led to its armed standoff with militia groups occupying the Bundy Ranch near Bunkerville, Nevada.
The group says it’s concerned about the safety of BLM employees.
