Nevada Voters Show Low Turnout

Voter turnout in Nevada is close to record lows. The Secretary of State's office reported Tuesday that only six percent of active voters had cast their ballot during early voting just days before next week's primary.

Early voting closes Friday while absentee ballots must be received by Election Day, June 10. The record for lowest turnout was 2008 when 18 percent of registered voters in Nevada showed up for the primary.
