Las Vegas Metro Examines Shooters' Motives

Metro investigators are trying to piece together the motive behind a mass shooting Sunday that ended with five dead, including two Metro officers. According to Metro, two unidentified gunmen walked into a CiCi's Pizza shop on Nellis Boulevard and shot two officers at close range. The victims were identified as officers Alyn Beck and Igor Soldo. The shooters then made their way to a nearby Walmart where they shot and killed a third victim. That person remains unidentified. Authorities then found the couple dead in an apparent suicide pact.

The Las Vegas Sun is reporting the female shooter killed her partner then herself. The Sun is also reporting that neighbors from the apartment complex where the shooters apparently lived have painted the picture of a couple that spouted racist, anti-government rhetoric and bragged about spending time in support of rancher Cliven Bundy. Allegedly the couple handed out white-power propaganda and shared with a few their plans for a mass shooting, with references to Columbine. The couple were even said to have walked around town dressed in costume. Sheriff Doug Gillespie is expected to host another press conference at some point this morning.
