O.J. Simpson is trying once again to shorten his prison sentence. Yesterday, Simpson's attorneys filed an appeal in the Nevada Supreme Court, seeking a new trial. Simpson's lawyers claim his 2008 trial was tainted by his fame.
Simpson is serving nine to 33 years in a northern Nevada prison. He was found guilty of leading a group of armed men in a confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers at a Las Vegas casino. Simpson lost an appeal in a Clark County District Court last year. The seven justices must now decide whether to accept the latest appeal for consideration.
