NV Energy Looks To Raise Rates

NV Energy officials are looking to bump up customer's energy bills to raise more capital for service improvements. The utility company applied for the increase with the state's Public Utilities Commission last week.

They're asking for a one-point-eight percent increase for the average customer, which comes out to roughly 2-dollars and 82-cents. NV Energy also wants to raise its flat monthly service charge from 10 to 15 dollars.
