Nevada ACLU Files Suit Against CCSD For Failing To Intervene Against Bullying

The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit against Clark County Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky and other CCSD officials for failing to take action in a bullying case that led one victim to contemplate suicide.

According to the suit, one student harassed two students at Greenspun Junior High School using homophobic slurs and stabbing one student with a pencil. The ACLU is also accusing the Nevada Equal Rights Commission for failing to resolve their investigation two years after complaints were filed. The school district has no comment at this time.
