Lawyers Cleared To Work In Medical Marijuana Industry

The Nevada Supreme Court has amended state rules regarding lawyers and the medical marijuana industry.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reportsthe court released its decision late Wednesday. Justices agreed to the rules amendment proposed by the Nevada State Bar Association that now allows lawyers the ability to counsel clients on medical marijuana.

Even though state law makes it legal, medical marijuana remains illegal according to federal law. This rule change is effective immediately.
