Las Vegas Still Underwater

A new report shows roughly one-third of mortgaged homes in Las Vegas are still underwater. The tracking firm Zillow published the report earlier this week, focusing on the first quarter of 2014. The worst area is North Las Vegas where more than 41 percent of mortgages are underwater compared to 34 percent in Las Vegas and 29 percent in Henderson. These figures show improvement from 2013 when almost half of mortgaged homes were underwater.
