Las Vegas Out Of The Running For GOP Convention

Republicans will not be coming to Las Vegas in 2016 during their biggest political event. On Thursday, Nevada GOP leaders announced Las Vegas is bowing out of the running to host the Republican National Convention. Nevada's lieutenant governor Brian Krolicki says the city won't have enough time to prepare for the convention with an arena capable of seating delegates and guests. Some religious groups urged the GOP to avoid Las Vegas. Kansas City, Cleveland, Denver and Dallas are the four remaining cities in the running.
