Highway Funding Could Hurt Nevada

The lack of federal funding could mean roadway project delays in Nevada. The state Transportation Board of Directors reported Monday that if Congress doesn’t replace the dwindling transportation funding, it could cost Nevada 6,000 jobs.

Project Neon, the major Interstate 15 widening in Las Vegas, is not expected to be affected. But, there are projects scheduled for 20-15 and 20-16 that could be postponed, some could be canceled.
