Thousands of Nevada high school students have not been given a diploma because they could not pass the proficiency tests required for graduation. The last legislature changed those rules and the state has now given two classes a pass on those tests. But what about the students who did not get a diploma because of a test that the state no longer uses? They might well have a legal case to get their high school diplomas after all.
