Bundyfest: It Could Happen

One wonders: As long as we’re allowed to use federal land any way we want, Clive Bundy style, why not have a big party? As wild as Burning Man, with bands and nudity.

That’s the gambit proposed by Sean Shealy, who is either following in the footsteps of Burning Man organizers Black Rock City, or perhaps trying to fill the void soon to be left by satirist Stephen Colbert.

We think he’s kidding but what if hundreds of freedom-loving festival goers actually show up for Bundyfest, an event that Shealy says will run from September 5 th to October 5 th, with 240 bands playing 24 hours a day? Right next door to the Bundy’s land?
