Becky Bosshart joined the Peace Corps through a partnership offered by the creative writing program at UNLV. The plan was simple -- to travel abroad, teach English, translate texts and earn academic credits. Then she got sent to the Ukraine. Her service has ended, at least temporarily, because of the political unrest in the Eastern European country. So what did she learn? And how will it affect her writing and teaching?
