The State Of Boxing

Boxing has been on its deathbed for decades – or so we’ve heard.  But, in the past five years, Mixed Martial Arts have only begun to edge boxing in pay-per-view buys. And big boxing matches still draw massive crowds to Las Vegas and other venues around the globe. One thing remains constant: Boxing or UFC, Las Vegas is still seen by many fans as a heavyweight in the fighting world. But now, our city has some challengers for that title. Bob Arum, chairman of Top Rank Promotions, and the promoter for fighter Manny Pacquiao, discusses the future of boxing in Vegas.
