A massive solar power plant near Las Vegas had its dedication ceremony yesterday, which was attended by a bevy of state and federal officials. The Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System is the largest solar power plant of its kind in the world. It covers nearly five miles of windswept desert outside of Primm, where thousands of mirrors concentrate sunlight onto boilers perched atop towers. How much will it cost to operate the plant?
