Shake-Up At The RJ

The Las Vegas Review-Journal laid off a number of employees across the organization on Wednesday. On Thursday morning an editorial promised a new day. The paper would be more zealous in covering local news and sports, the paper promised. It would put more reporters "on the street covering things people care most about." So what does this mean? How does the local paper get more local and can it work as a business model?
