The website promises an “Ed-Zoo-Cational” experience, but opportunities to learn about animals via an up-close encounter at the Roos and More Zoo are on hold for now. The popular Moapa County site that is home to nearly 400 animals was shut down by Clark County inspectors due to code violations. Now owners of the zoo must raise the money to make the changes requested by the county, and they have to do it without benefit of having the income from the attraction.
