North Las Vegas In Dire Financial Straits

The city of North Las Vegas is facing a budget deficit of more than $150 million over the next seven years. Last year, Fitch Ratings downgraded $440 million of the city's bonds to junk status. And Mayor John Lee has admitted that a state takeover could come later this year. So why is he still optimistic? And what can be done to prevent the state from taking over?
