Is Nevada Managing Medicaid Rush?

State officials knew that Medicaid caseloads would jump at the end of 2013. But they underestimated the demand for the federal health care program, which serves the poorest residents of the state. Ten thousand more people enrolled in the program from September through December -- that’s five thousand more than anticipated.
