Government Shutdown, Day 2

It’s day two of the government shut down as Republicans continue their efforts to stall the implementation of Obamacare. But President Obama and Senate Majority leader Harry Reid show no signs of giving in to GOP demands – and the Affordable Care Act launched yesterday as planned.

Reid’s fellow Democrats are following his lead and standing tough – except for Representative Steven Horsford, who, on the eve of the shutdown was one of nine Democrats to vote with Republicans for a one year delay to launching Obamacare.

So is there a resolution in sight, or should we prepare for ongoing political wrangling? And how will the government impasse hurt Nevada?
