Conflict Erupts Over City Soccer Fields

Competition is supposed to unfold on the city's soccer fields. But for months, a controversy has been brewing about how those fields are scheduled and allocated. For years, the city has outsourced scheduling to the Nevada Youth Soccer Association. But that group took issue with Key Reid, son of the U.S. Senate Majority Leader, when he circumvented their process for a springtime tournament. Now the city is reevaluating its system.
