Medicaid Expansion Stalls In Arizona

In Nevada, Gov. Brian Sandoval readily accepted the expansion of Medicaid to people who make less than 133 percent of the federal poverty level. Not so fellow Republican Gov. Jan Brewer of Arizona. She originally opposed the expansion but has since changed her mind. But the decision to accept the federal money to fund the expansion of Medicaid has ground state government to a halt. And it's a battle between a Republican governor and a Republican legislature. Why are the Republican majority against any expansion of the state's Medicaid program?
