Washoe Superintendent Discusses Education Reform After Jones and Guthrie Resignations

When Clark County School District Superintendent Dwight Jones and Superintendent of Public Instruction James Guthrie both resigned just a month apart, it left a void in education leadership in Nevada. One bright spot in Nevada education has been the Washoe County School District. Superintendent Pedro Martinez. worked closely with Dwight Jones on reforms for Clark County before leaving to become superintendent in Washoe County. He joins us to talk about the state of public education in the state.
