Nevada Legislature Looks At Animal Welfare

Animal welfare activists are ratcheting up the pressure on the Nevada legislature. Currently lawmakers are facing bills that would end the practice of horse tripping, put a stop to bear hunting, and even limit what wild animals we can feed. And exotic animal ownership would be limited to zoos and Strip entertainers.

Does this legislation protect wildlife, or put unnecessary restrictions on hunters, entertainers, and those who feel they’re offering sanctuary to wild animals?
