How Do You Say, "There's An App For That," In Cherokee?

You can use your smart phone to find funny pictures of cats, review a restaurant on Yelp or buy movie tickets. Entreprenuer Don Thornton also uses them to preserve endangered languages. He has developed mobile apps that preserve and teach native languages for more than 130 tribes and first nations in the United States and Canada. Now he's working on a video game that teaches foreign languages by immersing the player in a fantasy world of monsters and zombies -- where they have to learn the language to survive.
