Mormons Rethink Race

In the early years of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, two African-American men were admitted to the church's priesthood. Their descendants were not so lucky. From the time of Brigham Young until 1978, African-Americans could not reach full membership. Now things are changing.
