Maritime Smuggling And Blind Drug Mules

There are a growing number of cases where organized crime operations in Mexico are putting drugs into cars headed to the U.S. without the drivers knowing. The people driving the cars are known as "blind mules." The practice has prompted U.S. officials to take out ads in Mexican newspapers warning people about the practice. There is also a recent spike of unwilling people being coerced into moving drugs across the border under threat of harm from cartels. We'll hear the story of an opera singer and a architectwho were both caught smuggling under duress but received very different punishments.
