America Abroad: Youth In The Arab World

Arabs under thirty drove the region's revolutions. They have emerged as prominent social and political actors. But now that Libya, Egypt, and Tunisia have new governments, what has changed? And are young Arabs satisfied with those changes? On this edition of America Abroad, we'll hear from university students in Egypt, young Syrian refugees in Lebanon, and an anti-violence activist in Tunisia about how young people in each of those countries are faring. We'll also be tracing the cultural history of Nas al-Ghiwan, Morocco's most popular band for forty years.
