Is Drone Warfare Boring?

A new study from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has shown that piloting drone flights can be boring. And boredom leads to lack fo attention. So the surveillance that is often the point of the mission might not be working as well as we imagine. The study suggests that the work needs to be structured to prevent inattention and tedium among drone pilots like those who fly from Creech Air Force Base.
