Nevadans Fare Poorly for Philanthropy

The Chronicle of Philanthropy has published a study ranking charitable giving by state, and Nevada did not fare well. We're 41st on the list, with Utah coming in first. Is the reason as simple as a dismal economy or is something more keeping us from writing that check?
