Bill Raggio Part II

Mustang RanchAfter nearly four decades in the Nevada State Senate, Bill Raggio's legacy includes burning down a brothel. In 1958, as the DA of Reno, he indicted Mustang Ranch owner, Joe Conforte, for blackmail and got an order for the Sparks Fire Department to burn down the building.

In 1972 he ran for Nevada state senate and stayed there until 2011. Some say much of his staying power could be attributed to his mastery of parliamentary procedure.
