Postal Service Cuts Could Mean Community Mailboxes Nationwide

Large aluminum mailboxes at the end of the block are the norm in many Las Vegas neighborhoods. The boxes mean postal carriers can deliver to entire blocks in one stop. As the United States Postal Service struggles to remain solvent one idea to save money is bringing community mailboxes to every neighborhood across the county. This would save money by having less postal carriers on the ground and less time spent delivering mails. This is just one idea in a slew of possible changes congress could implement to save billions. We talk with former Nevada Congressman and USPS Board of Governors member Jim Bilbray about what those changes could mean and why community mailboxes might not be for everyone.
