After much public skepticism over financing, the new Las Vegas City Hall is finally open. The new city hall has several environmentally friendly features like solar arrays that will generate a portion of the energy used by the building. City officials also plan for the $185 million building to eventually have high tech features like touch screens that allow visitors to pay bills, track energy use of the building and read facts about the city. City officials completed the move from the old city hall last week and are calling it one of the linchpins of downtown redevelopment. City Manager, Betsy Fretwell joins us to talk about the opening of the new city hall.
