Dr. Conrad Murray's Verdict and the Ethics of Medicine

Michael Jackson's personal doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.  Dr. Murray still holds a medical license in Nevada.  What does this case teach us about medical ethics and the overprescription of legal medications?
