The Cell Phone Ban Goes into Effect

During the 2011 legislature, lawmakers passed a ban on using cell phones while driving. The ban went into effect on Oct. 1 and for now police are issuing warnings for drivers caught using their phones while driving. Starting January 1, those caught will face fines, and repeat offenders could ultimately end up with a suspended license. We talk with a representative from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police about what officers are looking for as they enforce this law.
