Oscar Goodman's 12 years as mayor comes to an end today. Under his administration the City of Las Vegas has seen the best and worst the Nevada economy has to offer. Goodman is credited with bringing big projects like the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and the Smith Center to Las Vegas. He has also been the champion of downtown revitalization in the city. Goodman has been known for his charisma as well as his gaffe's such as saying he would cut the thumbs off of graffiti offenders and telling fourth graders his desert island companion would be a bottle of gin. As he swears in his wife as his successor in the mayor's office we'll discuss the legacy of Mayor Oscar Goodman.
