From the time immemorial, argues Wayne Pacelle, humans have bonded with animals. And it is in our DNA and our psyche to treasure and protect them. He lays out the case in his new book, The Bond. Pacelle will be reading from the book and signing copies at the Barnes and Noble Store on West Charleston tonight. He joins us to discuss why he thinks humans need to defend animals.
