Senate Bill 151 passed in the Nevada Legislature requires transportation commission's in counties in Nevada with a population of 700,000 or more to come up with an authority and plan to develop light rail transportation. The bill would only impact Clark County and isn't the first time light rail has been discussed in souther Nevada. We talk with the bill's author, Senator Mike Schneider and transportation consultant, Tom Skancke about what a light rail would look like in Las Vegas and if it is realistic in Nevada's economic climate.
