Leveraging Starpower in Vegas

Celebrities have made big headlines in Las Vegas in recent weeks. Marcus Jordan, the son of basketball great Michael Jordan told the world via Twitter about a wild $35,000 night at Haze nightclub inside City Center. But, because Jordan is only 19 years old MGM Mirage is now under investigation by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Also making big new is the arrest of Paris Hilton for cocaine possession. Hilton was subsequently banned from Wynn and Encore because of the incident and her boyfriend, nightclub mogul Cy Waits was fired for being arrested that same night for allegedly driving under the influence.

Norm Clarke of the Review Journal joins us to talk about the two cases and what star power means in Las Vegas.
