Adequate Yearly Progress

The Clark County School District has succeeded in meeting federally mandated No Child Left Behind's Adequate Yearly Progress. The district failed to meet the benchmarks last year. But, despite overall district goals being met, more than half of CCSD's individual campuses failed to make the grade.

We continue our summer series on education with a look at Adequate Yearly Progress. What do the new scores mean for CCSD? And is there a plan to keep the momentum going? We talk with the head of district assessment.
