Will Hydrogen Ever Power Cars?

Back in 2003, companies and scientists were saying that hydrogen was the future -- that one day, hydrogen would power your car and we'd be smog-free. The Department of Energy pumped money into the idea. But one UNLV scientist thinks that hype may have been premature. Paul Forster is developing hydrogen for cars in his lab, but there are big problems. What roadblocks are there? And will they keep us from ever reaching a hydrogen future? Paul Forster will speak Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at UNLV's Barrick Museum. The event is part of the Nevada Renewable Energy Consortium Lecture Series.

Guest:
Paul Forster, Asst Prof of Chemistry, UNLV
