Mine Safety in Nevada

The recent explosion at the Upper Big Branch mine in West Virginia raises questions about mine safety. Two Nevada gold mines have figured on a recent list of the most dangerous mines in the country put out by the House of Representatives' Education and Labor. We talk with safety expert Ellen Smith about how mines are inspected and why those Nevada gold miners have made it onto the list.
