Michael Hurley

In 2004, Michael Hurley served on the 9-11 Commission's staff as a senior counsel and helped write the commission's recommendations. He was also deputy director of the 9-11 Public Discourse Project. We talk with him about the implementation of the 9-11 Commission's recommendations, and whether or not the country is safer today than it was in 2001.
