Health Care Overseas

Canada, Australia and Germany spend half as much as the United States does on healthcare but still achieve universal access. Canadians, Australians and Germans are also happier with their healthcare than Americans, according to a recent survey done by the Commonwealth Fund. And people in those countries all live longer than we do, says the CIA World Factbook. We talk with Las Vegans who have lived in those countries for a number of years to find out how those government-insured health care systems work and why patients are happier than they are in the United States.
