This month 26 million acres of BLM land across 12 western states were listed as endangered by the National Trust of Historic Preservation. Among those listed, stretches of desert in Southern Nevada. Ky Plaskon reports that two of the threats are garbage and people shooting at it.

Clark County's Sports Shooting Park is a planned 5-star shooting range across 2,880 acres. The meeting is Tuesday (6/21/05) at 7 p.m. in Clark County's Administrative Building.
