Minority Affairs

The Nevada Legislature created the Commission on Minority Affairs during the last legislative session. Among its many purposes is to collect information from various sources and propose legislation to the Governor that could help minorities. Today that commission held its first meeting. KNPR's Ky Plaskon spoke to board members Jennifer Angel and Theresa Malone about some of the problems minorities face in the state.
