Senator Ensign

Nevada Senator John Ensign has been singled out as a leader in the area of technology with two awards. One came last week from TechNet, a network of senior executives within the high tech and biotech community. And yesterday he was named 'Legislator of the Year' by the Information Technology Industry Council - a trade association representing leading U-S providers of information technology. Ensign was on the floor of the senate yesterday but KNPR's Ky Plaskon caught up with him on the phone to chat about his opinions and actions that make him worthy of the awards.
