Yucca Mountain: International Perspective

Nuclear waste is a relatively new problem in the world. It's been around for 50 years and will stick around for another 10-thousand by current estimates. Nations around the world plan to store the waste in facilities deep underground. In addition to the United States, twelve other countries are actively working on programs to try to safely dispose of their nuclear waste. KNPR's Ky Plaskon spoke to officials about the difficulties other countries face in their nuclear waste management programs.
