Library Bond Issue

June 3rd is Election Day in Clark County. Voters will chose judges and city council members. But one county-wide question on the ballot is whether to approve a bond issue for the Las Vegas Clark County Library District which would raise $50.6 million. Library District director Dan Walters talked with KNPR's Ky Plaskon about what the District would do with the money and the future of public libraries. Walters starts by explaining the districts garnering of the nation's most prestigious Library of the Year award.
